Ashworth Kell was founded on a simple view. Clients want lawyers who understand their business, tell them what they think and then deliver. We built a firm around that, with partners who lead their own matters and teams small enough to stay close to the work.
We are national in reach and deliberately based in one place. Working from a single office in Leeds keeps our standards consistent and our costs proportionate, and it means the specialists your matter needs already know each other.
How We Work
Straight answers
We give a clear view on day one and put it in writing. If the answer is no, we say so and explain what we would do instead.
Partner-led
A partner runs every matter and stays on it. You will always know who is responsible for your work and how to reach them.
One office
Every lawyer works from Park Square. Specialists across disciplines sit together, so complex matters are resourced in hours, not weeks.
Clear on cost
We agree scope and fees at the outset and tell you before anything changes. Most clients choose a fixed or capped fee.
Careers
We recruit trainee solicitors each autumn and experienced lawyers all year round. We look for people who are curious about how businesses work and comfortable giving a straight answer.
